Installing WindowsHide
So I found a folder containing all the files needed when installing Windows 2000, and it reminds me of the horrible days of not being to just install and use my OS like I can do now with linux. Here is the list of files and how I had to install them to show the level of work was required to get windows working 100% after a fresh install.

First Boot of the system:
   • Install Win2k Service Pack 2
   • Install Linksys Network adapter driver
   • Install "Windows Installer" update (Isn't that kind of redundant?, Required to install later files)
   • Reboot (Required for Windows Installer)

Second Boot:
   • Install Dot Net framework
   • Install DirectX
   • Reboot (Required by DirectX)

Third Boot:
   • Install ATI graphics card drivers
   • Install Sound Blaster Live drivers
   • Install Sound Blaster remote drivers
   • Reboot

Fourth Boot:
   • Install Monitor Drivers

Optional Files: (Most of these I had to install to do much more, especially for anything involving internet)
   • Install Saitek Joystick drivers
   • Install Adobe Acrobat
   • Install DivX video codecs
   • Install Filzip
   • Install Firefox
   • Install Hyperpen drawing pad drivers
   • Install Flash
   • Install Media Player
   • Install Quicktime
   • Install utorrent
   • Install Winamp

And now I can use my computer...after 4 reboots (including the first reboot after installing windows) and possibly 1 or 2 more depending on the other optional files installed. What a hassle.
